Jonne Catshoek

Jonne Catshoek joined EPD in 2011 as Country Manager for Georgia.

Prior to joining EPD, Jonne conducted extensive research and field work for conflict management and democracy support organisations in the Caucasus, Europe and Africa. Most recently, he worked as Programme Manager for the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD), for which he coordinated the implementation of political party assistance programmes and democracy education in Georgia and Burundi.

 

Some of his previous experiences include working as Project Manager for the Eurasia Foundation in Georgia, as Research Assistant for International Crisis Group (Dakar) and as Peace Mediation and Dialogue Assistant for the Crisis Management Initiative (Brussels).

 

Jonne holds an MA in International Relations from King's College London, specialising in Conflict Prevention and Diplomacy. In addition, he obtained an interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree in International Organisations and International Relations from the University of Groningen (the Netherlands). He also studied European Studies at the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris.
