Klara Weger

 

Klara Weger is a Belgian and Czech national. She has been working at the EPD Secretariat as a Programme Coordinator since April 2010, implementing EPD’s projects in Moldova and Armenia and initiating EPD’s new projects in Ukraine and Georgia.

 

Previous to joining EPD, she worked as a Junior Diplomat at the Czech Republic Permanent Representation to the European Union, where she acted as the National Delegate to the MaMa (Maghreb/Mashrek) and MOG (Middle East/Gulf) Working Groups of the Council of the EU – in preparation and during the 2009 Czech Presidency.  

 

She holds a Ph.D in political science from the West Bohemian University in Pilsen, Czech Republic. While writing her dissertation she worked as a Teaching Assistant both at the West Bohemian University in Pilsen and the Charles University in Prague. She was as well a visiting scholar at the French Centre for Research in Social Sciences in Prague (CeFrES).
