Kristina Prunerova
Kristina
Prunerova
has earned Master's Degree from International Relations and Diplomacy
at the University of Economics in Prague, Czech Republic. From 2004 she
served
as a human rights officer for the Czech NGO, People in Need (PIN), and
from
2005 she was the Secretary of the International Committee for Democracy
in Cuba
(ICDC). The ICDC was founded by former
Czech president and human rights champion, Václav Havel, as an
international
committee striving to build political support for Cuban democracy.
ICDC members include former and current
statesmen and intellectuals from all around the world. From May 2008,
she has been the Programme Manager of the "European Partnership
for Democracy". Kristina is currently responsible for the
start of pilot projects of the EPD in the area of funding.
