Chad electoral commission delays poll. Election Guide
Chad's national election commission on Saturday delayed parliamentary and local elections to 2011. The new timetable postpones parliamentary and local polls due in November to next February, and will move the presidential election from next April to May. The head of CENI claimed that the country lacked the capacity to successfully administer the election under the old dates.
