Congo hit by election violence
"Clashes between government and opposition supporters have left 15 people hurt in the run-up to presidential and legislative elections later this month.Witnesses said clashes on Saturday in Lubumbashi, the main city in Democratic Republic of Congo's Katanga province, saw government supporters and opponents throw stones at each other, with several suffering knife wounds while some vehicles were burned."
