Underlining the need for all out efforts to ensure merit and transparency in every area of national development, Prime Minster Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani said no country can make progress without good governance as this is the key to success. He said the people have given us the mandate for change and there is huge responsibility on us to come up to their expectations. The Prime Minister expressed these views while chairing a meeting to review the performance of the Planning Commission and progress of various projects of the Planning Commission here today. The Prime Minister directed the Planning Commission to incorporate 9‑point economic agenda in their planning which had already been approved by the cabinet taking all the stakeholders on board for ensuring better coordination and implementation.
