[Ticker] EU welcomes Burma releases
"EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton on Friday said she"warmly welcomes" the release of political prisoners in Burma, adding that the "courageous step" takes the EU "a further step towards a new relationship" with the country. Amnesty International estimates at least 130 prisoners were released over the weekend."
