Partner Organizations
DEMAS (Association for Democracy Assistance and Human Rights), is an
independent platform of Czech non-governmental organisations (NGOs), was

In a world where countries and regions must cooperate to address urgent
problems – climate change, conflict, food security, health and education
– the European Centre for Development Policy Management, ECDPM helps countries in Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific (ACP)
build effective partnerships that will tackle these and other
development challenges. Economic and political North-South relations are
usually biased towards the most powerful. The ECDPM therefore want to reduce
the ‘asymmetries’ in policy making between the EU and ACP countries. By
making the EU-ACP partnership more balanced and effective the ECDPM stimulates
developing countries to unleash their full potential. THe ECDPM provides support
to key development processes in developing regions and countries in a
long term perspective. By doing so the ECDPM assists the ACP in strengthening
their institutions and capacities to develop policies and strategies
that shape their own futures and provide pathways out of poverty.
